When I was in Edinburgh, Scotland we went on a "Haunted Tour" and our tour guide talked about this guy. He was reading vampire books and had convinced himself that he was a vampire. When he got into a verbal disagreement with his roommate over a woman this guy was in love with (who was the main female character in these vampire books), he wound up killing him and drinking his blood. The story our tour guide told us was a bit different from the story in this article, though.

I'm surprised they didn't think this guy was crazy. I'm no expert, but when you think you are a vampire and drink someone's blood, I wouldn't necessarily call you sane.

Then again, I'm no expert ;)
